Funding
The federal government has granted Minnesota money for two alternative financing programs. These programs provide low-interest loans to Minnesotans with disabilities to purchase assistive technology devices and services which will provide a more independent lifestyle.
The Alternative Financing Program (AFP) provides micro loans for assistive technology devices and services.
The Telework Program provides loans for assistive technology devices and services that will lead to employment.
STAR's Community-Based partner, Equipalife, is adminstering these programs. Contact Equipalife for more information or to receive an application to these programs.
