Minnesota Assistive Technology Advisory Council

The Minnesota Assistive Technology Advisory Council was created when the Assistive Technology Act of 1998 was amended in 2004. The goal of this advisory council is to provide consumer-responsive, consumer-driven advice to STAR for planning, implementing, and evaluating assistive technology activities set forth in the AT Act of 1998, as amended.

The Minnesota Assistive Technology Advisory Council held its first meeting on March 29, 2005. The council currently meets twice a year to provide guidance on implementing Minnesota's assistive technology plan.

If you would like to share your thoughts and ideas regarding assistive technology, contact the STAR office at 651-201-2640, 1-888-234-1267, or e-mail star.program@state.mn.us, or contact a Council Member.
